Description: This product is a specially formularized Lipopolysaccharides (LPS) Cell Stimulant solution. It is in an easy-to-use format. LPS is a major component of the outer membrane of Gram-negative bacteria. LPS is an endotoxin, and induces a strong response from normal animal immune systems. LPS acts as the prototypical endotoxin, because it binds the CD14/TLR4/MD2 receptor complex, which promotes the secretion of pro-inflammatory cytokines in many cell types, especially in macrophages.
Application Instruction:
1. Mix 1ml of 10X LPS Cell Stimulant solution with 9ml of medium (for one 96-well plate). This diluted mixture must be used within the day. Note: Although the product is sterilized, user may need to filter the diluted solution with 0.2 filter to prevent any contamination during the dilution process.
2. Apply 100l of the above mixture to a well (96-well plate) and incubate cells at 37¡æ / 5%CO2 for a proper time period (mostly 4hr~16hr). Collect the medium for further assays.
Storage Conditions: Store container at -20¡æ for six months or at -70¡æ for one year from the date of receipt. Distilled 1X mixture must be used within one day.
